What is The Legend of Zelda?

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the birth of the Zelda series we look back through its twenty-five year history to see how the series has evolved. The Legend of Zelda is an action-adventure game filled with puzzle-solving and set in the land of Hyrule. It tells the story of a young boy named Link who travels between worlds and in some cases across time to defeat evil, save Princess Zelda and restore peace to the world with the help of the friends he meets during his journeys.
